Room 208, Saturday late morning

Wyatt woke up in a cranky mood. He shouldn't be in this place, he should be out bending the world to his will. He was the Twice-Blessed Child, after all, and the most powerful force of magic the world would ever know. Good and Evil were meaningless. It was all about power.

And then there was his traitorous brother to deal with. He couldn't believe Chris, of all people, would turn on him. He could forgive his brother -- if he promised to never cross him again.

He heaved a sigh of frustration and randomly TK'd a lamp across the room, smashing it against the door.

That woke Tannim up. "Whoa," he said. "Bad dream?"

"I'm bored," Wyatt said. "I want to have some fun."

"Okay," Tannim said sleepily. "Maybe someone around here's got a Gamestation we could borrow."

After his unpleasant morning, Chris took a walk around the dorms.

He sensed his brother's presence and, though it confused him a little, he knocked on the door.

"A Gamestation?" Wyatt repeated incredulously. "Why play games when I can have the world at my feet?"

Wyatt yanked open the door. "Chris," he said in a soft deadly voice. "Come to beg my forgiveness? And what the hell is up with your hair?"

"There is nothing wrong with my hair," Chris insisted. "And why would I be begging your forgiveness?"

"Um," Tannim said, confused. He finally sat up and looked at Wyatt. "What?"

"I have the power and I'm not afraid to use it," Wyatt snapped. "This world will bend to me."

"You betrayed me," Wyatt snarled. "You're trying to stop me."

Tannim frowned. "Why do you want the world to bend to you?"

Chris frowned. It seemed in this place of goodness his mission to stop his brother from being good had failed.

"Dammit, I will figure out a way to stop you from turning good," Chris promised.

"Because it's my destiny," Wyatt said simply.

"What the hell are you talking about?" Wyatt said. "You're the one trying to make me remember how good I'm supposed to be." His tone became mocking. "You're not evil, Wyatt. You have to remember there's goodness inside you."

"I went back in time to stop you from becoming good!" Chris insisted. "And I thought I succeeded. God, this place must be infecting you or something. There's too much sunlight and happiness here."

"Pfft," Tannim said, with a wave of his hand. "Those aren't written in stone. Do you know how much of a pain in the ass world domination would be?"

Wyatt looked Chris over. "Are you telling me you're not fighting for team good anymore?"

"That's what the demons who serve me are for," Wyatt sneered. "They'll keep everyone in line."

Chris made a face as if that were the most horrific thing Wyatt could have ever said. "I never fought for team good."

"If this is some sort of trick, I'll kick your ass," Wyatt said suspiciously.

"I don't know why the hell you would think I'm good, but let's go raise a little hell together," Chris suggested.

"First of all, since when do you have demons to serve you?" Tannim asked. "And second, even if you did, who's going to keep them in line?"

Wyatt slung an arm around Chris's shoulders. "Sounds good to me, little brother," he said. "I like this look on you."

"I keep them in line," Wyatt said, conjuring an energy ball. "Would you like me to demonstrate?"

"There is far too much good in this place. Let's go see what we can do to change that," Chris said.

Tannim stared at him in disbelief. "Okay, I need coffee and you clearly need more sleep." He tossed the covers aside and headed for the door.

"Lead the way," Wyatt said with a grin.

Wyatt watched him go with narrowed eyes. Whoever this boy was, if he insisted on defying him, he might have to take action.
