The Beach, Saturday afternoon

Playing babysitter for the wee incarnation of his girlfriend hadn't been on Wyatt's agenda for the weekend, but he would do his best to deal and just hope that once the weekend was over, Fandom would restore her to normal. If not, he'd have to send her out to San Francisco to live with his five-year-old self or something.

He held Isabel's hand as he orbed them to the beach. "There you go," he said. "Where do you want to make your castle?"

Summer had to sit down for a moment once Chris had orbed with her to the beach. She wondered if she would ever get used to that.

"Summer, are you okay?" Chris asked, his brows furrowing in concern.

Summer nodded, giving him a small smile. "I'm fine. Really."

"Good," Chris said, grinning at her. "I can't heal yet, so it would be bad if you were sick."

"Well, I'm not sick, so you don't have to worry about healing me," Summer promised.

"Okay," Chris said. "I'm gonna go build a castle with Izzy!"

"I bet it'll be the best castle ever," Summer said.

Chris nodded. "You should help us."

"I can do that," Summer said. "You'll have to tell me what to do, though. I haven't built a sandcastle in a long time."

"Summer!" Wyatt said. "You're normal!"

"So are you," Summer said, relieved someone else was.

She peered at the little blond girl. "Let me guess. Isabel?"

"Uh huh," Wyatt said. "Cute, isn't she?"

Summer smiled. "Yeah, she is."

"God, I hope this wears off by the end of the weekend," Wyatt said. "Until then we just have to make sure they don't damage themselves too much."

"These things usually only last the weekend," Summer said, relieved about that. "I wonder how much sugar they'll get through by then."

"We'd better hide all the sweets," Wyatt said. "Chris got really hyper on sugar when he was a kid."

Summer facepalmed. "I probably shouldn't have let him have those cookies this morning."

"Hi Summer!" Isabel waved, sending sand flying every which way.

"Hey Isabel," Summer said, not even bothering to try dodging the sand. "Building a sandcastle, huh?"

"Yup!" she grinned. "Do you want to help? It's going to have a tower and a moat and maybe a dragon."

"Sure," Summer replied. "Dragon, huh? Guess there should be a knight or something to rescue the princess from it."

"Or a prince," Isabel said. "Every castle needs a prince to rescue the princess."

Summer nodded. "Yeah, a prince definitely works for that, too."

"Uh huh," she nodded. "And he'll need a white horse and a sword."

"Can't slay a dragon without a sword," Summer agreed.
