The Beach, Saturday afternoon

Playing babysitter for the wee incarnation of his girlfriend hadn't been on Wyatt's agenda for the weekend, but he would do his best to deal and just hope that once the weekend was over, Fandom would restore her to normal. If not, he'd have to send her out to San Francisco to live with his five-year-old self or something.

He held Isabel's hand as he orbed them to the beach. "There you go," he said. "Where do you want to make your castle?"

"Okay," Chris said. "I'm gonna go build a castle with Izzy!"

Chris nodded. "You should help us."

"I can do that," Summer said. "You'll have to tell me what to do, though. I haven't built a sandcastle in a long time."

Summer nodded. "It'll probably be easy once I remember how to."

"We'll make a big tower for the princess," Chris said.

Summer smiled. "It really will be the best castle ever."

"And you'll be the best princess ever," Chris said, blushing furiously.

"You're a smart kid," Summer said, snickering a bit. Because really, that was all kinds of adorable.
