The Beach, Saturday afternoon

Playing babysitter for the wee incarnation of his girlfriend hadn't been on Wyatt's agenda for the weekend, but he would do his best to deal and just hope that once the weekend was over, Fandom would restore her to normal. If not, he'd have to send her out to San Francisco to live with his five-year-old self or something.

He held Isabel's hand as he orbed them to the beach. "There you go," he said. "Where do you want to make your castle?"

"These things usually only last the weekend," Summer said, relieved about that. "I wonder how much sugar they'll get through by then."

"We'd better hide all the sweets," Wyatt said. "Chris got really hyper on sugar when he was a kid."

Summer facepalmed. "I probably shouldn't have let him have those cookies this morning."

Wyatt snickered. "You're doomed," he said. "You're going to have your hands full. But I bet you can control him."

"I hope so," Summer sighed. "I'm not usually very good with kids."

"Just smile at him and he'll be putty in your hands," Wyatt suggested.

"Seriously?" Summer blinked. "You think that would actually work?"

Wyatt nodded. "Oh yeah, smile and bat your eyes and he'll do anything you want."

"That kind of thing never worked with Chris before," Summer said. Not that she'd ever tried to get him to do things for her. Really.

"It hasn't?" Wyatt said. That surprised him a little. "Try a little harder. I'm sure he'll be wrapped around your finger in no time."

"Usually, I have to do the sad puppy dog face. That never fails," Summer snickered.

"Don't be surprised if he asks you for a scarf or something," Wyatt snickered. "He wants to be the knight to your princess. I told him he should get a token from you."

Summer shook her head and laughed. "That's actually really cute."
