The Beach, Saturday afternoon

Playing babysitter for the wee incarnation of his girlfriend hadn't been on Wyatt's agenda for the weekend, but he would do his best to deal and just hope that once the weekend was over, Fandom would restore her to normal. If not, he'd have to send her out to San Francisco to live with his five-year-old self or something.

He held Isabel's hand as he orbed them to the beach. "There you go," he said. "Where do you want to make your castle?"

Johnny was going to deal cause it would make Savannah happy.

He listened quietly and glanced over at Savannah and answered Wyatt. "Okay."

"You may face each other and join hands," Wyatt said. "Recite your vows and give each other the rings."

Savannah had no idea what kind of vows Wyatt meant but she looked at Johnny. "You are my super hero," she said with a smile and put the ring on his finger. "And you protect me." There was more she could have said... but she was four and would never stop if she did. "Oh! And I promise to share my cookies with you and not get my hair on your pillow."

Because that was important.

Johnny held her hand and said his vows even though he wasn't sure either. "I'm giving you my frog and will stay with you forever and ever."

Pause.

"And maybe your hair can touch my pillow." He put the ring on her finger and looked back at Wyatt.

"Here before witnesses," Wyatt said, "Savannah and Johnny have sworn their vows towards each other. With this cord, I bind them to those vows."

Cord? Frak, he didn't have a cord. So he improvised, pulling his belt from his jeans and wrapped it loosely around Johnny and Savannah's wrists.

"Repeat after me. Heart to thee, body to thee, always and forever, so mote it be," he finished.

Wyatt was the best big brother angel EVER!

She looked at Johnny and said in a solemn voice, because this was a serious thing: "Heart to thee, body to thee, always and forever, so mote it be."

Johnny was just as serious and his tone was low, each word carefully spoken. "Heart to thee, body to thee, always and forever, so mote it be."

"So mote it be," Wyatt said. "You are now married. You may kiss the bride." Pause. "On the cheek."

Savannah leaned in and kissed Johnny on the cheek.

Johnny blushed deep red and turned to kiss her on the cheek.

"All right," Wyatt said. "Now go play like kids are supposed to do. You can go on a honeymoon in fifteen years or so."

Savannah was all ready to play when he said that and her attention focused on him.

"Whatsa honeymoon?"
