Room 226, Monday morning

Wyatt woke up in his own bed, thankfully alone. Maybe the weekend had all been one crazy dream. Isabel couldn't have been a cranky pregnant woman. And he definitely wasn't gay and obsessed with sex. Okay, maybe the second part was true. But the images in his memories were too vivid and real to have been a dream.

He groaned and yanked his pillow over his face. It might have been more bearable if he'd stayed in his room, but no, he had to go out and socialize. And he had . . . with Peter! And with Link -- Troy! He was never going to be able to look them in the eyes again.

Then yesterday he'd run into Chris at the Perk who seemed to be himself except for thinking that his brother was evil. Wyatt winced. He hadn't really hit on his brother, had he? Killing himself was becoming more and more attractive.

He'd gone to to Caritas last night and hit on Anders. He was never going to hear the end of it. He contemplated skipping class and wondered if attempting to kill himself would be a good excuse for missing school.

"Makes me think the Elders are sitting up there and laughing their asses off trying to come up with ways to make our lives miserable," Wyatt said.

"It wouldn't surprise me in the least," Chris grumbled.

"So does your future self have a thing for girls with bows?" Wyatt said. "Or was Gwynn someone else, too?"

"Apparently my future self has a thing for girls in leather," Chris said. "Gwynn was someone else, though her name was still Gwen. But she was all decked out in tight leather and future-me thought she was Bianca."

"Bianca was your fiancé?" Wyatt said. "The one I, uh. . . ." He let that thought trail off.

Chris looked down. "Yeah."

"I'd never do that to you," Wyatt said quietly. "You're my brother."

Chris thought he knew that. But the memories his future self had were troubling.

"It's not going to happen," Wyatt said firmly. "Just because your bizarro universe self had it happen, doesn't mean I'm going to go power-mad and take over the world or something."

"Even though we both had bizarro universe evil selves last year?" Chris asked.

"Still not us," Wyatt insisted. "Just like this weekend wasn't really us. Just people who looked like us."

"This place makes my head hurt," Chris decided.

"Mine, too," Wyatt said. "But would you really be back in a boning normal high school in San Francisco?"

"Plus you wouldn't have met your girlfriend," Wyatt pointed out. "Or me mine."
