While Isabel did her own packing upstairs, Wyatt was finishing packing in his own room. He'd already orbed a lot of stuff home, leaving the important stuff to be taken along on the road trip. He was stalling, just a bit, distracting himself by checking his email and looking up places online they might visit on their trip.

[Goodbye post -- meant to have this up much earlier, but I was traveling all day. May be SP at times because my parents will pout at me for being on the computer while I'm home. Late pings are fine. :) ]

Summer smirked at that, but then got serious. "I promise to make sure he'll be okay."

"Thanks," Wyatt said quietly. "I mean . . . I've always been around to take care of him, you know? Ever since he was born. It's going to be weird being so far away."

Summer nodded, though she didn't know what it was like to be away from a sibling since she didn't have any. "I know it's not the same, but you two can visit each other a lot."

"Yeah, and he'll be home for the holidays and stuff," Wyatt said. "And being able to orb has its perks."

"Definitely," Summer agreed. "And you'll be back for homecoming, right?"

"Don't see why not," Wyatt said. "I'm sure me and Isabel will be here for it."

"You better," Summer grinned. "I'm sure Chris and I will be visiting you sometime."

"Definitely," Wyatt said. "And we can road trip to Vegas to see Isabel, too."
