Wyatt woke up when his alarm went off. He reached out blindly to turn it off so as to not wake his roommate, then got up and staggered across the hall to the bathroom. Except when he got ready to relieve himself, something was missing.

He stared down for a long moment, then yanked his pajama pants back up and turned to a mirror. The reflection gaping at him wasn't his own. What the hell? He wasn't even in Fandom. This wasn't happening. He had to be dreaming.

He hurried back to his room, praying no one would see him, then grabbed his phone and dove under the covers. Isabel had an early class that morning, so he couldn't call. Which was fine with him, because he wasn't sure he wanted to attempt speaking. So he texted:

Are you okay???

Being out of Fandom meant Isabel thought they'd escaped the twenty-four hour weirdness bug, so she was a little slow to catch on.

Isabel's eyes got wide as she started to put two and two together. His messages didn't sound like a they were written by a kid. Which meant he was either some sort of animal with opposable thumbs. Or....

She covered her mouth with her hand, trying not to laugh out loud.

He'd heard his roommate leave the room, so he popped out from under the covers long enough to sit up and pull his t-shirt up and take a picture with his phone, then sent it to Isabel.

Isabel almost dropped the phone when she saw that picture. She quickly closed the message because porn in class would be a little to odd to explain.

Now that the initial flail had worn off, Wyatt was feeling more relaxed with it. As long as it was temporary. It was temporary, right?

You'll have to judge for yourself in person.

After a second's thought, he forward the picture to Chris as well, with the message, Dude, check me out. That ought to make him have a flailing fit.

I'd put money on it. I thought we'd escape the weirdness when we left.

But if it was Fandom weirdness, did that mean other things could happen? Isabel couldn't help but wish for another day with Victoria, no matter how hard it would be to explain.
