Room 208, Sunday evening

After a busy weekend of demon-saving and alien-smiting, Wyatt decided he should fill his mother in on what had been going on. So he picked up his phone and dialed her number.

Piper grabbed her cellphone when she heard it ringing. "Hi Wyatt."

"Hi," Wyatt said. "How are things?"

"Okay," Piper replied. "Looking forward to spring break. How are you?"

"Our spring break is just ending," Wyatt said. "Classes start up again tomorrow. And . . . it's been a busy weekend."

"Busy how?" Piper asked, sounding slightly worried. "Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah, everyone's fine," Wyatt said. "I think. I mean, I should probably make Chris go down to the clinic to get looked at, but he seems okay. I'm just not sure what the aliens did to him."

It took Piper a moment to process what Wyatt just said. "What?! Why does he need to go to the clinic? Aliens? Huh?"

"Some weird frakking aliens tried to invade Fandom or something," Wyatt said. "They kidnapped Chris and a few other people and did experiments on them or something. But we took care of them. I even kinda blew one up."

"It's always something trying to invade Fandom," Piper sighed. "Chris should go to the clinic. Make him go. If not, I will...You blew one up?"

Yeah, this was Piper sounding proud. "Also, have you been hanging out with Cally or something?"

Anders was irritable. And restless. And depressed, after seeing Isabel off. And . . . well. Trying not to think about that.

A distraction would be good, so he knocked on Wyatt's door.

As he finished his phone call with his mom, Wyatt answered the door. "Hey, dude, come in," he said.

"Hey," Anders said, his tone disgruntled. "Thanks for saving our asses there last night."

"Yeah, well, I told Aunt Phoebe that we'd do the return spell the minute we saw anyone really struggling," Wyatt said. "Guess it was a good thing she got her binding spell off first."

"Uh." Anders coughed, and if Wyatt were paying enough attention he might notice a bit of uncomfortable squirming in there. "Oh yeah. Good thing. Really good thing."

Wyatt peered at Anders. "Something wrong, dude?" he said.

"Oh, no, nothing's wrong," Anders muttered. "Everything is juuuuuuuuuuuuuust fine. Moving right along. Oh yeah."

"Dude, you are so full of crap," Wyatt said.

Tannim dropped his Mustang off at the garage on the mainland that Mr. Winchester had recommended and took the bus back to Fandom. (Any witnesses that said he caressed the hood of his car and murmured promises to return as soon as possible were probably - well, observant.)

He returned to 208 exhausted, but still in a great mood.

"Hey, roomie, welcome back," Wyatt said as Tannim came into the room. "How'd it go?"

"Awesome," Tannim grinned. "Fairgrove swept the last three races. You should've seen them drive. How'd things go here?"

"Chris was kidnapped by aliens and my dead demon uncle is alive," Wyatt said. "Same ol' same ol'."

Tannim gave Wyatt a dubious look. "I'm... almost afraid to ask."

"You missed the alien ship trying to invade," Wyatt said, flopping down on his bed and leaning against the wall. "They kidnapped some people to experiment on or something, and Chris was one of them. But we got into their ship and kicked their alien asses."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously," Wyatt said. "They took some more people last night, but somebody captured one of their ships and we took it up to the mothership and rescued them. I even managed to get some of my powers to work." He grinned a little sheepishly. "Apparently they kick in when I'm pissed off."
