Room 208, Sunday evening

Wyatt was in his room, relaxing after a rather interesting encounter with Lana. Maybe she wasn't so bad after all.

Right now he was waiting for Chris to show up so they could figure out a spell to get their stolen senses back. Pity he couldn't see, because then he might realize he had lipstick marks all over his face.

Chris knocked on Wyatt's door.

After waiting a moment, he realized that he wouldn't hear his brother call him back in, so he entered the room.

"Dude, why are there lipstick marks all over your face?"

"Huh?" Wyatt said. "Oh." He laughed sheepishly. "C'mon, I think you can figure it out."

"I can't hear you," Chris reminded him, watching his lips moving. He walked over to Wyatt's desk and found a pen and paper. "Here, write stuff down," he said, handing them to his brother.

Wyatt stared at his brother as he pressed the pen and paper into his hand. Well, he stared where he thought Chris was.

"Dude, I'm sorry," Chris apologized. "But I don't know how else to communicate with you."

Wyatt sighed and made a circle with the thumb and forefinger of one hand, then moved the forefinger of his other hand in and out of it several times. That should tell Chris just why he had lipstick all over his face.

"With who?" Chris asked, rolling his eyes, an effect lost on his brother.

"Lana," Wyatt smirked. He wondered how he could do the name in charades if Chris couldn't read his lips.

Chris's eyes got wide.

"Did you just say Lana? As in, Aunt Phoebe's best friend who hates your guts?"

Wyatt just leaned back on his pillow, his hands behind his head, grinning.

There was not enough facepalming in the world for that.

Chris grabbed the paper and pen back from Wyatt and started writing, trying to remember the spell they had cast so they could reverse it.

"I found some reversal spells in the Book, so I think I know how we can reverse this one. I'm just trying to remember the spell we used."

"I remember it," Wyatt said. "Ancient power, help us this hour, take her voice so she can say no words because she says things best left unheard." He paraphrased a little so as to not cast the spell accidentally again.

Chris couldn't hear what Wyatt was saying, but it seemed like he was forming the words Chris had written on the page.

"Okay, so give me a minute," he said. "I think I know how to fix it."

"Cool," Wyatt said. And then there was a knock at the door.

Cally knocked on the door, and waited.

"Who is it?" Wyatt called out.

Cally glared at the door.

Chris looked confused. "Wyatt? What's going on?"

Wyatt mimed knocking and pointed at the door. He got up and walked over to it. "Who is it?" he said again.

Cally glared and kicked the door.

"Who is it?" Chris asked, unable to hear the knocking or kicking.

Wyatt didn't like the sound of the kicking at all. He shrugged at Chris and motioned for him to get ready for anything, then yanked the door open. He'd have to rely on Chris's voice to tell him who it was.

Cally just sort of crossed her arms and glared.

Chris might have eeped when he realized who was at the door.

"Cally!" he exclaimed, probably much too loudly.

Wyatt took a step back and bumped into Tannim's closet. "What do you want?" he said.

Cally pointed at her throat. Once. Very emphatically.

"Uh... I think she wants her voice back," Chris interpreted for Wyatt. "Which we're totally already working on," he added for Cally's benefit.

Cally nodded and crossed her arms, waiting.

"Yeah, funny how this weirdness happened to the three of us," Wyatt said innocently. "Wonder why."

Too bad Chris couldn't hear his brother, not that he would expect Cally to believe that they were innocent anyway.

"I've already got the reversal spell written," Chris said. "Wyatt, we just need to change a few lines from the original," he explained.

Cally waited.

Oh. She would have words with them. Right when she could speak them.

"Just tell me what to say," Wyatt sighed, poking blindly at his brother.

Chris recited the spell slowly for Wyatt. "Okay, you ready?"

"Ready," Wyatt said. He and Chris said the spell together:

"I call upon the ancient power
To help me with my need this hour.
Reverse the magic and give them back
The senses which they currently lack."

"So, what's it worth to you for me not to tell your mom about this?" Cally said.

Chris flailed at Cally's words.

Then realized that he actually heard them, which meant the reversal spell worked.

"I can see!" Wyatt said happily. And he used his new-found sight to glare at Cally. "I don't know, seems like you've already told her an awful lot," he said. "I can't believe you told my mom that I was making gay porn with Anders. That's so frakked up I can't even begin to describe it."

"You were talking about sexing! And the DVD!" Cally said. "I just sorta... put two and two together and got six."

She couldn't actually keep up the angry part when she knew she had been in the wrong.

"I'm sorry, okay?"

"Seriously," Chris said. "You should get all the facts before you start spreading stuff like that around."

He was still traumatized by the idea of his brother and Anders having sex.

"Anders and I are just friends," Wyatt said. "There's no sex and no DVDs and it's just totally uncool of you to make assumptions about us like that and go spreading them around to anyone who will stop and listen. Even -- god! -- my mother! Okay, so it was wrong of us to use magic to try to teach you a lesson but it pisses me off when people tell lies about me and my friends."

"Yeah, well, you were right there, not denying me when I was... okay, yeah, yeah, I should butt out of Anders' sex life and I shouldn't have shared, but gods, I'm sorry, okay? I talk. It's what I do. And you coulda just as easily told me the right story rather than casting a spell on me without ever actually, you know, talking to me."

"Hey, it backfired on us, too, okay?" Chris said. "I think we all could learn a lesson from this."

Wyatt nodded at that. "And you owe Anders an apology, too," Wyatt said. "He's got enough crap he's dealing with right now, and then he's got you spreading lies about him on top of it. He needs his friends right now and you're like totally shredding him. He's pretty pissed off."

"Yeah, well, if he actually bothered to ever talk to me other than when I find out he's being weird, maybe he'd have a leg to stand on. I kinda have to be nosy if the dork shuts me out," Cally said. "But yeah, I'll apologize."

"Good," Chris said. "Now I think we can all happily go about our lives."

Wyatt almost fired back a retort of "Oh, so that makes it perfectly okay to spread lies about him, I get it," but he held his tongue. "Right," he said instead. "Go about our lives. Lesson learned. No more spreading false rumors."
