Salamander A2, Saturday afternoon

After hanging out at the park for awhile, Wyatt headed back to the cabins, flopping heavily down on his bed. Aunt Prue had died long before he was born, murdered by Alyssa Milano a demon. It was cool meeting her finally, but it made him start thinking again about how much he wanted to find a way to bring his real mom and dad back to life. There had to be a way to do it. He knew he had the power inside him. He just had to figure out how to tap into it.

Savannah shook his hand and grinned. "Savannah."

"Very nice to meet you, Savannah. So what brings you to Fandom?" Tannim asked.

"Nice to meet you, too, Tannim. My guardians wanted to send me somewhere they thought I would be safe." She shrugged.

Tannim raised his eyebrows. "Safe from something in particular, or are they just very protective?"

She let out a breath, wondering how much she should tell anyone.

"A little bit of both, to be honest." She said. "They seem to forget I can handle myself pretty well, though."

"This is a good place, then," Tannim said. "There are a lot of people here who can handle themselves, and they'll back you up if there's trouble."

Having people to back her up if there were problems did indeed help her with Paige telling her to try to stay out of trouble.

"That's good to know," she said with a nod. And then because she was curious. "Are you a witch with powers, too?"

"I'm more of a wizard," Tannim said.

She gave him a confused look.

"Or a mage," Tannim said. "I usually say 'mage' because 'wizard' makes me feel like I should be wearing a pointy hat and robe. Anyway, I do stuff with magic."

Savannah nodded. "Magic is something I'm pretty good with," she smiled. "It wouldn't seem that a pointy hat and a robe would be very comfortable."

"Especially not in this humidity," Tannim agreed. "I take it you're a magic-user as well?"

Savannah nodded. "Yeah. It runs in my family."

"Very cool," Tannim said, a little enviously. "My parents don't even know about my magic. They'd just think I was nuts."

"Why would you having magic make your parents think you were crazy?"

"Seeing things that aren't there? Talking to 'imaginary' creatures? Kinda hard to explain," Tannim said.
