Campgrounds, Saturday evening

Wyatt had come out to the campgrounds while it was still light out to set things up. Now as night fell he had a nice fire going to ward off the chill of the fall night air, and a blanket stretched out on the ground beside it, along with a picnic basket of food -- including marshmallows, of course. The sky was clear, the moon was just a sliver, and the stars were bright overhead. Perfect.

Now all he needed was a girlfriend.

Funny how Isabel just happened to turn her head at that moment. "Some how I think you can. But first I did promise to cook you dinner."

"Yes, yes you did," Wyatt said, then brought his lips down on hers again.

They were talking about something? With a happy sigh, Isabel teased his lips with the tip of her tongue.

Wyatt made a very pleased noise and darted his tongue out to brush against hers.

"Nice," she murmured, nipping playfully at his lip.

"Right back at you," he said softly, moving one hand to caress her arm.

Isabel kissed him gently once more, then shifted to rest her head on Wyatt's shoulder. "Are you in any rush to go back to the dorms tonight?"

"Not really," Wyatt said, stroking her hair. "I'm perfectly happy right here."

"Good," she said, drawing idle doodles across his chest with her finger. "Because I don't plan on moving any time soon."

"I like that idea," Wyatt said, kissing her forehead. "You warm enough? I have another blanket if we need it."

Isabel grinned. "Where you a Boy Scout? Since you're so prepared? That would be nice though. We can snuggle to stay warm."

"I made it to First Class Scout," Wyatt chuckled. "Then I decided the uniforms made me look like a geek." He took the snuggling comment as an invitation to do just that and snuggled closer.

"I don't know. There's something about a guy in uniform," she told him, leering a bit.

"Short pants and neckerchief?" Wyatt said, lifting his head a little to look at her. "Kinky."

Isabel shrugged and lifted her head to peer down his body. "It depends on if you've got the legs for it."

"That a request to take my pants off?" Wyatt teased.

"Ummmm....no. Not that I'm not tempted," she laughed. "Another day. When there's less chance of you getting cold and then sick for break."

"Good point," Wyatt said. "Rain check for pantslessness, then." He lifted one hand and called, "Blanket!" The extra blanket he had brought orbed over to them, and he pulled it over their bodies for a little extra warmth. Not that he wasn't plenty warm already with the body heat he was sharing.

"You know? With the TK and the orbing? We could be the ultimate couch potatoes," Isabel snickered.

She was quite warm, the blanket just made things cozier.

"That does have its appeal," Wyatt agreed. "Until we got too fat and lazy to move. But as long as we can find some reality TV show to snark, we'll be happy."

"God knows there enough of it, and some of it really, really bad, to choose from. But for now? I like this reality," she waving her hand at the sky before turning her head and kissing his cheek. "And this one."
