Room 226, Saturday evening

Wyatt woke up, yawned, stretched, and rolled over to check the clock. It was dark out, so it had to still be pretty early in the morning and therefore no reason to get out of bed yet. The blue LED lights of the alarm clock told him it was almost 5:00 AM, so he made a sleepy sound and sank down in his pillow.

Then he realized that the little dot that meant "AM" hadn't been lit up. 5:00 PM? He'd slept through the entire day? He sat up abruptly and tried to get out of the bed, but his legs got tangled in the blankets and he fell, sprawling on the floor. Cursing, he stood up and hobbled over to turn on the light, then sat back down on the bed to inspect himself. He'd managed to scrape his knee and elbow, but his healing ability made short work of that. Too bad he hadn't been able to use it as a kid. He had a couple of scars from childhood adventures that it would've been nice to get rid of.

"Yeah, going from only to the youngest has to be weird," Isabel agreed. "Still that's kind of nice for her. Now she has big brothers to look out for her."

"So long as Melinda doesn't show up here and start asking me questions about sex like Savannah did," Wyatt said, making a face.

"Why? You don't flailing?" she teased. "What did Savannah want to know?"

"She asked me about how to make sure she could make Johnny happy before the first time they slept together," Wyatt said indignantly.

Isabel facepalmed, that was like her asking her Michael what she could do...No, just stopping that train of thought right there. "I'm surprised you didn't send her off to a convent."

"I wanted to," Wyatt grumbled. "But I think nuns would run screaming from her."

"You're terrible," she laughed. "So what did you tell her?"

"I told her there was no way in hell I was going to tell her how to please Johnny!" Wyatt said.

"Considering the cheerful mood Johnny's been in? I think she found a way." Yes, Isabel was a little bit evil.

Isabel laughed and reached up to pat his cheek. "Don't worry. I'm sure they're just sitting in their room playing checkers every night."
