After orbing himself, Isabel, Michael, and Ronan from the beach, and after Ronan and Michael had left them, Wyatt shut the door behind them and walked across the room. He put his hands on Isabel's arms. "Hey," he said softly. "How are you doing?"

Isabel shrugged, not really sure how to put how she felt into words. "I've had better weeks," she said finally.

"What happened?" Wyatt asked. "You . . . I watched you. . . ."

"Watched me what?" Isabel asked slowly. "Everything's all mixed up. I saw myself...No, she saw me collapse, but after that, I don't know. At least until she woke up yesterday."

Wyatt's brow furrowed. "You were touching her, using your powers. And you started to turn old. I tried to heal you, but. . . ." It still wasn't easy to say now, but since she was standing in front of him, that made it less difficult. ". . . you turned to dust."

Clayton had said she'd died, but dust? And Wyatt saw it? Isabel swallowed hard. "I didn't realize. I'm so sorry," she said quietly. "He wanted me to heal her. And he threatened Meg. I had to try. But I'm not healer. And it just got out of control. I couldn't stop it."

"Don't apologize," Wyatt said,touching his hand gently to her cheek. "You should've told him to come get me."

"I was trying to keep you safe." She rubbed her cheek against his hand, needing the contact. "And there was nothing to heal. She was just old. But he didn't understand that. Wouldn't understand it."

"Where is he now?" Wyatt asked. "How'd you get away from him?" Then he realized there were certain people he needed to let know Isabel was okay, so he said, "Wait a sec," fished his cell phone out of his pocket with his free hand, and made three quick calls to Chris, Anders, and Peter.

"They must have been freaked," Isabel sighed, hoping to avoid the question of exactly what happened to Clayton. "I'll have to go talk to them. Tomorrow maybe."

"Tomorrow," Wyatt agreed, setting his phone aside. "I'm not letting you out of my sight tonight."

"I wasn't planning on leaving," she admitted, leaning close. "For a while I didn't think I'd be able to do this again."

"Me too," Wyatt said, wrapping his arms around her. "I thought I'd lost you."

"You almost did," Isabel whispered into his shoulder. "But you saved me. You and Ronan and Michael."

Wyatt rubbed his hands up and down her back. "We had help," he said. "Chris and Peter, Sam and Dean."

She remembered, or at least Meris remembered seeing Chris and Dean there as everything went to hell. "Peter and Sam were there? Really?"

"They weren't there," Wyatt said, shaking his head. "Sam had a vision that you and Meg were in trouble, and then he saw you later on the beach. And Peter drew a picture of you on the beach with me -- and said what he draws comes true. So we knew we were going to get you back."

"Yay for psychic friends," Isabel said. She smiled briefly but it faded as she thought about how it could have been. "It still must have been hard."

"Yeah," Wyatt admitted quietly. "I wasn't handling it well."

She tugged him towards the bed, wanting nothing more then to hold onto him and be held. "Tell me."

Wyatt sank down on the bed, pulling Isabel with him. "When you disappeared, I lost control of my powers," he said.

Curling into his side, Isabel slowly started to relax. "You were upset. That's understandable."

"I wanted to go after them and kill them all," Wyatt said. "Chris had to knock me out."

"Wyatt..." But there wasn't much she could say. If it had been him. Or Max or Michael, she would have felt the same.

He hugged her tightly. "I'm okay," he said. "And you're okay." He gave her a concerned look. "You are okay, right? Do we need to do anything to get her out of you completely?"

"I don't know. She's quiet now," Isabel told him. "But I think maybe I should talk to Bridge? Maybe he can tell if she's really gone."
