The Beach, Saturday afternoon

Playing babysitter for the wee incarnation of his girlfriend hadn't been on Wyatt's agenda for the weekend, but he would do his best to deal and just hope that once the weekend was over, Fandom would restore her to normal. If not, he'd have to send her out to San Francisco to live with his five-year-old self or something.

He held Isabel's hand as he orbed them to the beach. "There you go," he said. "Where do you want to make your castle?"

"I don't know," she admitted. "What's a good name? And can there be knights? And a dragon?"

"I'll be your knight if any dragons show up," Wyatt grinned. "As for a name, how about Camelot?"

It sounded prettier then Isabel-land so Isabel grinned in agreement and started to dig in the sand. "Can we make it that high?" she asked, stretching her hand up above her head.

"We can try," Wyatt said. He'd use some TK to keep the sand in place if he had to because if it collapsed and she started to cry he wouldn't know what to do.

That got him a rather sandy hug.

Wyatt squeezed her back. Damn, she was adorable as a kid. "All right," he said. "Let's start on the first tower."

Isabel did just that, dropping down to her knees and beginning mound sand in a heap. "Some day I want to see a real castle."

"That can definitely be arranged," Wyatt said, kneeling beside her. "I can show you lots of castles."

"Really?" she asked. "Like on a vacation?"

"Uh huh," Wyatt said. "We could go to England or Scotland or Ireland or all three."

Isabel stared. "Really?"

"Anywhere you want, honey," Wyatt said.

"I want to see all of them!" she said immediately.

"That may take awhile, even for me," Wyatt said. "But we can take our time. Maybe this summer, would that be fun?"

"Lots and lots of fun," Isabel smiled happily. The crush she'd had on Wyatt? Was now full blown puppy love.

"You want to get ice cream when we're done with your castle?" Wyatt asked.

"With Tabasco?" she asked hopefully.

"I think they keep Tabasco in stock just for you," Wyatt grinned.
