The Beach, Saturday afternoon

Playing babysitter for the wee incarnation of his girlfriend hadn't been on Wyatt's agenda for the weekend, but he would do his best to deal and just hope that once the weekend was over, Fandom would restore her to normal. If not, he'd have to send her out to San Francisco to live with his five-year-old self or something.

He held Isabel's hand as he orbed them to the beach. "There you go," he said. "Where do you want to make your castle?"

"I promise and a Levine witch keeps her promises." Savannah nodded and then smiled. "Dick was a meanie head and called Johnny a wuss," she said helpfully.

"I don't gotta protect Johnny though," Chris pointed out.

Savannah shook her head. "I know. That's my job, right?"

"Noooooooo, 'vannah," Chris said, shaking his head. "Boys are apposed to protect the girls!"

"Mommy says witches have to be on guard and protect... so if it's your job to protect me and Johnny protects me, who else do I protect?"

Chris thought about that for a minute. "You can protect Summer since she don't got any powers."

This made perfect sense to Savannah. "I will keep Summer safe for you, Chris."

Savannah beamed at him. It was important to her that he smiled. "I will keep her safe and you wil protect me. This is a plan."
