Halliwell Manor, San Francisco, Saturday afternoon

Wyatt had wandered downstairs to scrounge for food. A flash of light from the living room caught his eye, so, wary for any danger, he stepped into the room. A woman dressed in shining silver armor and radiating a brilliant light stood there. "Who are you?" Wyatt demanded, shielding his eyes. "What are you doing here? Excalibur!"

The woman laughed. "I'm right here, my king," she said.

His sword hadn't appeared in his hand like it should've when he called. Wyatt stared at the woman. "You're trying to tell me you're my sword?" he said.

"I am, my lord," the woman said, bowing her head.

Life as a witch and living in Fandom made Wyatt used to a lot of weird stuff. So no one should be terribly surprised that his reaction wasn't one of completely denial, but instead was: "No way! My sword is not a girl!"

And that would be Isabel facepalming.

"Let me guess. She's also blonde."

Wyatt glanced sideways at Excalibur. "Yeah, how'd you know?"

"Just a lucky guess."

He so had a type.

"I am so glad that I didn't have to deal with a horndog of a human version of my iPod today," she sighed. "Drunken shoe salesmen will be enough."

"Chris seems to have lucked out, too," Wyatt said. "So I don't know if it's just me or a Fandom thing again. Excalibur called him Lancelot, by the way."

"I'll check with people tomorrow. If it's Fandom weirdness it'll at least give us an idea for how long she'll be sticking around," Isabel replied. "If it's not, then you'll have to see what the hell is going on."

Chris as Lancelot. Huh.

"Does that make me the queen? Because yeah...no. Let's just not go there."

"I think Excalibur thinks you are," Wyatt said. "But I think Chris is more focused on thinking that Arthur and Lancelot sleep together to think about Lance and Guinevere."
