The Beach, Saturday afternoon

Playing babysitter for the wee incarnation of his girlfriend hadn't been on Wyatt's agenda for the weekend, but he would do his best to deal and just hope that once the weekend was over, Fandom would restore her to normal. If not, he'd have to send her out to San Francisco to live with his five-year-old self or something.

He held Isabel's hand as he orbed them to the beach. "There you go," he said. "Where do you want to make your castle?"

"Hi Chris! We're making a sand castle," Isabel told him. "Want to help?"

"Sure! That sounds like lotsa fun!" Chris said, scampering over to where Isabel was building. "What can I make?"

"Well first we have to make the castle and it needs a tower for the princess," she said seriously. "Then it's going to need a moat."

"Summer could be the princess," Chris suggested. "She's pretty."

"I was going to be the princess," Isabel pouted. Take a guess who she wanted to rescue her.

"Okay, you can be the princess," Chris said. "Maybe we can build Summer her own castle."

"Two castles could be fun," she agreed. "Then we'll need to make a dragon to. Or maybe trolls."

"I can make a dragon!" Chris said.

"A real one?" Isabel asked, her eyes wide. "Or just a pretend one?"

"Welllllllllll," Chris hedged. "I could prolly make a real one, but I bet I'd get in trouble."

"Maybe if you make a small one?" Isabel was very intrigued by the idea of a real dragon.

"I'd have to write a spell," Chris said.

"I could help," she offered. "I know how to read now."

Chris looked excited. "Okay. You got any paper?"

Isabel patted her pockets. "I don't have any paper. But maybe we can write it in the sand."

"Good idea!" Chris said. "What rhymes with dragon?"

"Wagon!" she called out.

Chris nodded. "That's a good one." She clearly was not a Halliwell.

He bit his lip and concentrated on writing a spell in the sand.

"Okay, now I gotta make the dragon," he said.

"Can I help?" Isabel asked. The castle was forgotten.

"Sure!" Chris said, making a big pile of sand.

"What do I need to do? I've never written a spell before," she told him.

"I'll tell you the words," Chris said, concentrating on his dragon. The wings weren't quite proportional.

"Okay," Isabel said, digging her finger into the sand. "What do I need to write?"

Chris patiently told her the words while he built his dragon sculpture.

She had to ask him to repeat them once or twice as she carefully wrote them down. Hopefully one or two misspellings wouldn't ruin the spell.

"There," Isabel said finally. "All done."
